| About Bina Balakrishnan |
|
Mrs. Bina C. Balakrishnan has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Town and Country Planning, with Specialisation in Traffic and Transportation Planning, from the School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi. She has over 30 years of work experience, both as an Engineer as well as a Planner, having used both the disciplines equally well in all her projects.
Initially, she worked in the conventional method, designing road systems primarily meant for personal transport. Almost all the projects that she has worked on have been implemented. For the past 10 years, she has been focusing on Sustainable Transport Policy and Strategy, with emphasis on optimization of existing resources.
